The Riders of Rohan are looking to recruit nations willing to develop Rohan's own armed forces. The growing demands of our region, as the most powerful of the LOTR regions, require us to organise our armed forces to meet the growing needs of allied or associated regions.

There are three important areas where we are particularly looking for help

1) Riders Of Rohan
The Riders of Rohan are the regional defence force and can be called upon to defend Rohan and its allies from external threats. The Riders of Rohan are always seeking people willing to support our allies and friends. To be a Rider you will need to show courage and determination and the ability to think quickly and rationally in a changing environment. Loyalty and honour are important qualities in the Rohirrim and your service to the realm will be amply rewarded.

To join the Rider of Rohan you will need to :

1) Own a UN nation, and
2) In times of danger, be willing to move your nation at short notice to one of several regions.

Being a member of the Riders of Rohan can also hold other posts with Rohan

2) Scout Riders
The Riders of Rohan are in need of people to undertake scouting of allied and associated regions to that it is better able to react quickly to threats. The position requires people who have a keen eye to detail and can quickly learn the signs that might indicate a potential invasion.

Your job responsibilities will include

1) To be familiar with the different LOTR regions and their delegates
2) To identify new UN nations in more vulnerable regions and the potential for alien nations to infiltrate the region and seize the delegacy
3) Timely notification of threats to the Army to enable full mobilisation

The role may, in some circumstances, require you to lead the defense of the region

3) Recruitment and Training Officer

The Riders of Rohan are in need of someone to look after recruitment and training. The position requires someone who is well-organised and able to both persuade people to offer help and to instruct them of the basic role of Rohan's armed forces.

Your job responsibilities will include

1) Advertising to Rohan's members of the opportunities for them within the Riders of Rohan
2) Induction of new Riders
3) Managing basic training needs of new Riders
4) Timely reporting to Army Officers of new members and of certification of completed training
